This site was officially opened on March 27, 2002, Wednesday. The domain and the webhosting service for dark-chii.net was purchased at Datasteam USA. I was browsing through the net when I came across this really cheap host. It offers unlimited webspace and bandwith for $5.00/month, as long as I abide by the rules of course. Well, I went from having no complaints to having a lot. They have really bad customers' service... unless of course they hate me or something. They went from having good service, to bad, good again, now bad again. Grr...

Well, I chose dark-chii.net because most of the good anime names I like for .com, .net, and .org were taken. I wasn't about to pay $80 for another .nu site. And Chobits and Chii weren't available either. I know Chii exists as Chii and Black Chii, but I thought Dark Chii sounded better than Black Chii, so I decided on the domain name dark-chii.net. Choosing domain names always takes me a long time, including this one.

Originally, I wanted to host people using this domain, but unfortunately I can't unless I pay a whole lot more. I'm starting to see a trend in hosting services. And I think it's sad that I can't because, I want to host people without charge, just to promote anime. It's not like I'll be gaining any profit from it. Oh well. Can't do much about it.

Well, Chobits is rather new as a manga and totally brand new as an anime, so I don't have too much on here. But since I've been buying every single manga (sorry, no translations cuz I'm not good in japanese), and I'm trying to keep up with some of the info on the anime, hopefully this site will turn out great. That's all. hehe...
